Cyber Crime & Teams

Aside from carrying out complex cyber crime investigations, cyber crime teams also advise colleagues in the region about this subject. During this cyber crime training for specialised cyber crime teams, basic knowledge will be gained for, among others, computer technology, computer networks, Internet technology and communication protocols and techniques. We will then extensively look at the different forms of cyber crime and investigation opportunities will be discussed. We will also bring up subjects like documenting investigation results, high risk of damage during the investigation and the legal framework. Because of the many and varied casuistry, participants can immediately put new/supplemented knowledge into practice.

For whom is this training intended?
This training is suitable for trainees who structurally work on both simple and complex cyber crime investigations.

What will you learn during the training?
At the end of this training, you're aware of the trends, developments, opportunities and threats surrounding cyber crime. Additionally, you can document reports of cyber crime. During your investigation, you'll know which network devices could contain traces and which online sources like social media have added value. Tools like Facebook, WireShark and Linux Command are used to advance your investigation. You recognise different types of malware, the different cryptocurrencies and techniques behind it and can recognise the opportunities within the Dark Web.

All training courses are modular, if the training does not fully meet your requirements, we can put together a tailor-made course that meets your needs.
